
APPLE PIE A LA MODE

Ingredients
Cinnamon Apples:
1 cup diced apples
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 lemon juiced
Vanilla Cream Layer:
2 5.3oz container of Greek Yogurt, used Trader Joes
1/2 - 1 Scoop Organic Vanilla Protein
2 tsp.Vanilla Extract
Cinnamon Layer:
2 5.3oz container of Greek Yogurt, used Trader Joes
2 tsp. Cinnamon
Chopped Walnuts
2 tbsp. Chia seeds, divided
Directions

Heat apples, coconut oil and maple syrup in medium sized skillet over medium heat for 5-7 mins or until apples become soft.

Add lemon juice and cinnamon . Stir to coat eventually and heat for another 3 minutes. Remove from heat until ready to use.

In a small bowl combine all ingredients for Vanilla Cream layer, using a small spatula to gently fold or whisk until fully combined.

Divide the Vanilla Cream layer evenly between 4 mason jars (I used 6oz. jars but you can use any size).

Top evenly with chia seeds, cinnamon apple mixture, and chopped walnuts per jar.

In another small bowl, mix the Cinnamon Layer. Divide the Cinnamon layer evenly to the top of the 4 jars.

Feel free to add more chopped walnuts to the top and close the jars with lids. Refridgerate util ready to serve and enjoy!
